The first flower from my front yard garden, just for you.
Just a little fun blog where I can ask questions about and share my ideas on gardening, photography, life, living green, fitness (or lack thereof), doggies, and hopefully, get responses from my friends, family and followers.

Oh, lovely! Thank you for sharing it w/ us ... :)
We've just got our crocus up in the back garden here ... a pleasant sight!
I'm glad you at least have those. I didn't get my crocus planted last year, just the tulips and daffs. I went ahead and planted the crocs this spring just to see what will happen. I can see little green tops but that's all so far.
Hi Coneflower,
Glad you have some daffs blooming ... we're still waiting on ours! Still plenty of crocus coming on and the Glory of the Snow is blooming its heart out, so things are progressing slowly!
Hi IVG. I'm glad you encouraged me to go ahead and plant the crocus bulbs. At least half of them are coming up. We'll see if they bloom or not.
It is simply perfect. I love the intense color you caught in the photo.
Coneflower,
You may just be surprised with those crocus yet! But be happy if you just get foliage, because that means they'll definitely be back! Some of our new plantings from last fall that are in shadier areas are just coming up, so don't give up hope!
Hi Ilona! Thanks! You would have laughed if you'd seen what I went through to get a good angle on the blossom. I spread out a plastic bag because the soil was damp. Layed down on it and shot up into the blossom. Then when I downloaded it, I saw I had a weird angle so I had to crop it up straight. Hence the "interesting" diamond shape of the photo.
G' Mornin' IVG. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll keep on sending good energy to them.
We've got 2 cu ft of soil coming today for the veggie bed. Yikes!
Big work coming.
Lovely lovely daffodil picture, nothing beats a flower against a blue sky!
