Exciting Times
Just a little fun blog where I can ask questions about and share my ideas on gardening, photography, life, living green, fitness (or lack thereof), doggies, and hopefully, get responses from my friends, family and followers.

That's right, require me to leave a comment, make a statement like that, and then expect me to come up with an intelligent answer. :-)
It's pretty! Looks like an Olivia picture. Um. I'm woefully out of my element here, CF. I bow to the gardeners who follow. Hopefully I'll get back into that world soon - once it cools off! I miss green growing things.
Well, you made my day. "Looks like an Olivia picture." Wow!!
I don't care if you have answers or not. I love it that you take the time so simply comment. You're a true blog-buddy.
BTW, shere is Port Charlotte anyway?
Tit for tat - you always comment on mine, how could I not? :-)
PC is 1.5 hours south of Tampa on the Gulf side of the state, north of Fort Myers, south of Sarasota. Kind of a nondescript place, really, but close to the beach and cheap housing and no snow! Come on down if you need to escape the freezing OH breezes!
My M-i-l used to live in North FtMyers. Didn't hurricane Charlie pass right over PC a few years ago. I know it went right over her too.
Thanks for the invite. I have a setp-mil on Marco Island and an aunt in Palm Coast and a sister girl friend near Tampa. Now all I need is time and some money to get there.
Not quite over - through, actually. LOTS of damage. Area is still recovering, as is Punta Gorda, the next town over. You are set, Florida-wise! Hopefully you'll be able to get down here when you need to escape the frigid north!
Thanks!!
Good Morning:
Is that a Gray Striped Sun Flower?
John
Yes! It's the seed head from a sunflower that was planted by a bird last summer. Great! Thanks
SUnflower. Wow; good call!
Hello Waltk. Thanks for stopping by. You like the photo? I love the symmetry in nature.
Great shot! Loving your blog and enjoying your personality that shows through here. Your new dog is just so cute and tiny. Will he get much bigger? I bet you could carry him around in a little purse. :)

Hi Rosey Pollen. Thanks for coming by and thanks for leaving a comment.
Rory is cute as a button but he's a handful just now. Has lots of opinions, typical of a Cairn Terrier. :-)
He will get to be 11 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh about 14 lbs. He is a TOTO from the Wizard of Oz type of dog.
Thanks for your kind comments about my blog. I'll be over to see you one of these days.
