Okay, he's entirely TOO CUTE. I can look at a baby and wave from a distance, and be totally content. But a puppy? I'm down on the floor cuddling and playing with it for as long as the owner will let me.

Gotta love puppies! Thanks for sharing!! Hug him for me...

That's funny. I'm the same way with human babies vs. any critter baby.

I'll give him a hug and a kiss from you.

Oh my gosh I love those litte ears!! What a little man he is!

By the way, Beth, I put the recipe for those black bean burgers in the comments section right after yours. :) Hope you like them.

Adorable! He's just the cutest. How are you both surviving puppy energy?

Thanks, Melissa. I'll have to give the bean burgers a try. I don't eat eggs though because of the cholesterol so I'll have to think of something else to make it all stick together. Any ideas?

Hi Olivia! The only life saver regarding puppy energy is that they sleep as hard as they play. His schedule is not quite mine though. He was wide awake (Danger, Will Robinson!) at 6:15 this morning. Wide awake means I have to grab him and get him outside (too far and too cold) or to his pee mat asap. 6:15 is not my best time of day to say the least. Trouble is, he doesn't make noise when he first wakes up.

Hi dog_geek. Thanks for stopping by. I would love to work Rory in agility when he's old enough. I know I could use the exercise. How old is old enough and what commands does he need to know ahead of time?

Of course a terrier needs to be doing earthdogging also. I'm sure he'll do that. Already he likes to go into small dark places, so I think he'll learn that okay.

Hi Beth. I think if you blend more of the black beans (instead of leaving most whole) and then add more bread crumbs that should work. Sometimes I don't have eggs in the house either, this usually works for me.
Hope you enjoy them! :)

Thanks, Melissa. I'll give it a try.

What a delightful puppy you have there...and he's sooo photogenic :)

I have enjoyed scrolling backwards to see more of him :)

Hi Wildlife Gardner. Thanks for stopping by. He's quite a little guy. After dashing off a discrete distance at first, he is now fearless about the four (two on each side) large dogs who surround us. And his bark is maturing each day. :-)

Thanks, Marnie. He is indeed adorable and very smart and has a long attention span. However, he has reached his terrible twos (puppy age) and can be quite a challenge. He LOVES to have your hands/fingers/arms in his mouth and he does not remember that he has needle teeth. We're working hard on this problem now. Gotta solve it now while he's young.
